Kerragyn to Daddy: Dad what's Seminary?
Daddy: the class Briaunna goes to before school
Kerragyn: is Seminary spanish for school?

She got up this morning and announced, very happily that "the day after tomorrow we get to go back to school". I'm pretty sure her and I were the only ones that thought it was good news.

Hilarious Clean Comedy from Tim Hawkins!!

Comcast Family Picnic 2009

Our annual Comcast picnic was in Woodinville at the field by Red Hook Brewery. We did NOT take advantage of free samples! Kids had a blast. I also got a great video of Carleen in a sack race. Check it out!

July 4th 2009 Annual Hike

Had a blast this year playing in the snow with the Robinsons on a hot 4th. Have not had a complete sunny day on 4th for a while.

Grandma Hale's 90th Birthday

Our family had a wonderful time celebrating Grandma Hale's birthday. It was amazing to see how big the Carter - Hale clan has grown. It was nostalgic to see past videos of Grandma and Grandpa Hale, and see our spouses with ex boyfriends! Happy Birthday Grandma. We love you!

Let it Snow!!

The kids have really enjoyed the time off from school to create snowmen. forts, snowball fights, tracking snow and mud in the home and driving mom crazy. Here are a few pics of the scenery.

We had just come in from playing in the snow that was dumped on us. All the snow suits were still a little wet when we got a call at 8:30 pm. It was a friend in the ward who had some snowmobiles and wanted to know if he could come over so our families could enjoy them. I asked him what time he wanted to come over tomorrow. He said he wanted to come now! I got the OK from my boss (Carleen, and my landlord). So we got the kids all suited up for the third time that day. We live on 12 acres and we took advantage of all of them. The Carrs have eight kids but only brought 4. They tied sleds to the back and away we went. It was so much fun. By the time we ended that night it was 11:30. Kerragyn even stayed awake. She just rode in front of me while I drove one of the snowmobiles.

Mike Carr is in Young Mens so he suggested that we have the Deacons over 2 days later on Sat 12/20. We brought over half drums for fires, cooking stove for hot chocolate and chili. They even brought some snowboards for the back of the property. There is a hill you go down which hits a trail then drops off @ 8 ft. The boys snowboarded down then went off the drop off. Danyon did a 180 and landed hard on his bum. It hurt but he was stoked he made it out alive! The boys and Briaunna and Kerragyn and even Carleen had a blast riding on the tubes. I took it easy and just frightened them by my driving the snowmobile. It was a great time. Maybe he will let me borrow them to use for a family gathering with you guys!! We should have enough snow!!

Danyon's a Deacon!

Sunday Oct. 26, 2008 Danyon was ordained to a Deacon. We are so proud of him. He had all his Articles of faith memorized and quoted the 13th to the Bishop during his interview. He will be a great asset and leader in his quorum. He is looking forward to his first temple excursion in November.

Eben's Baptism

On Sept. 28, 2008 Eben was baptized! He is so excited to follow in the footsteps of his siblings and Cousin Connor. Thanks to all who were able to make it to the baptism. And for those who could not make it, you were in Eben's heart that day. Hopefully this will encourage him to stay out of mischief!

Look at me! I've actually got a background and my first real live post! Yes, and as soon as I get blog-coordinated enough I'll add pictures and stuff. (I really hope nobody holds their breath) I want to thank everyone that has encouraged and helped me along to way! I do have lots to post since baseball season just got over and I have an exciting goal for September I want to share. Besides if I don't get moving Mike will take over (he's really good at figuring it out on his own and he's picture/text coordinated to begin with) and then MY blog will turn more manly than I think I can handle.
